JILL SANTORIELLO (book, music and lyrics) is the award-winning author of the Broadway musical A Tale of Two Cities which received 3 Drama Desk and 2 Outer Critics Circle Award nominations including Outstanding New Broadway Musical. Since Broadway, the show has been produced in Korea, Japan, Germany, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, the United States and Canada with the English premiere scheduled for 2014. She is thrilled that ELOPE is giving the show its first production in Alberta! In 2009, Jill wrote and executive produced the PBS special A Tale of Two Cities – In Concert and the International Studio Cast Recording. Most recently, Jill wrote a song for the American Cancer Society Hope Gala in Honolulu, Hawaii and co-wrote the song “Riding a White Horse" with Oscar and Pulitzer Prize winner John Patrick Shanley for Over the Moon: Broadway Lullaby Project to benefit breast cancer research.
